An investment and financial planning company based in North Wales has been awarded a UK certification for protecting sensitive client data.
RPG Wealth based in St Asaph now has an IASME certification – the scheme for delivering best practice for information security. It includes the Government and National Cyber Security Centre’s own scheme Cyber Essentials and brings the business in line with the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
RPG Director, Julian Redmond said:

Going through the security processes and legal requirements to become accredited helped us, as a business, better understand the potential pitfalls and more importantly the solutions needed to protect both our data and theirs.
“When organisations are looking for a firm to help them with investments and financial planning we can show them our accreditations and they can be confident we have everything in place to the highest standard of Government schemes.”
The company worked with Risk Evolves on the accreditations and certifications.
