So sorry you missed our Data Protection Day in May, but we hope you find the recording helpful.
Make sure you save the date for our next day of free webinars September 23rd
Summary: When it comes to cyber security, we’re all a weak link. We’ll help you understand how IT environments work so you can help your business stay safe.
Suitable for: New business owners, employees, people returning to work after a career break and those entering the world of work for the first time.
The recording from the webinar on the 27th May is available now. Follow the link to register and access the free Webinar: The Basics of IT
What you’ll learn
The world of IT is fast moving and full of jargon. If the terms firewalls, routers, patching, malware, VPN’s, MFA are all gobbledygook, and you feel foolish to ask the questions to clarify what people are talking about, then this session is for you.
Session summary
This session will help you:
- Understand how an IT environment works
- Demystify IT jargon
- Make sure you’re receiving a good service from your IT provider
Is the event free?
It’s completely free and we promise that there will be no hard sell.
How long will it last?
We’re passionate about sharing our knowledge but we’re going to do our best to limit each webinar to just 30 mins. Don’t worry about ‘death by PowerPoint’, we’re experienced in making the most complicated subjects engaging and interactive.
What other training do you offer?
We’re running five other training sessions on this day. There are three training sessions in the morning about data protection and two other sessions on IT in the afternoon.
Do I need to prepare anything?
We’d recommend having a notebook to hand and a cup of tea.
